What is a Physician Assistant?
Physician assistants are trained health care professionals licensed to practice medicine with physician supervision. PAs conduct physical exams, diagnose and treat illnesses, order and interpret tests, counsel on preventive health care, and can write prescriptions. Both our PA-C's are Board Certified through the NCCPA.
BRIAN A. MARTIN, PA-C
is a certified physician assistant. He was educated at McCaskey High School, Messiah College, and Long Island University. Mr. Martin joined our practice in 2007 and comes to our practice with 10 yrs local experience Mr. Martin and his wife have two children.
JOAQUIN J. GARCIA, M.S. PA-C
is a certified physician assistant. He was educated at Lancaster Mennonite High School, Goshen College, and Arcadia University. Mr. Garcia joined our practice in 2001. Mr. Garcia and his wife have five children.
JAMES P. BEITTEL, M.D., Emeritus was the founder of Beittel-Becker Pediatric Associates. Dr. Beittel had a long legacy of excellence in medicine, public service, and child advocacy. Dr. Beittel first opened his doors to serve children in 1968 as a solo practitioner out of his N. Duke street office. Dr. Beittel retired from medicine in 2002 leaving the practice in the hands of the team listed above. Even in his retirement he remained active in the community serving as an unpaid deputy coroner and leader of the child death review team for Lancaster County. Dr. Beittel’s other passion in life was singing. He was an accomplished tenor and was a member of the Lancaster Opera Company. Dr. Beittel passed away July of 2006 and is missed by all the staff here at Beittel-Becker Pediatrics.
HILARY J. BECKER, M.D., Emeritus after 43 years of service here at Beittel-Becker Pediatrics Dr. Hilary Becker has retired as of January 1st 2018. Dr. Becker would like to thank all of you for a wonderful career caring for multiple generations of families in Lancaster County. Dr. Becker is looking forward to traveling more and spending additional time with her husband, her children, and grandchildren.
DONNA L. BROSBE, M.D. is Board-Certified in Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She holds a clinical faculty appointment from Drexel University. She was educated at Ursinus College, Temple University School of Medicine and Thomas Jefferson University. Dr. Brosbe has practiced pediatrics in Lancaster County since 1988. Dr. Brosbe and her husband have three grown children.
GRETA L. BEITTEL LAUBE, M.D. is Board Certified in Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is the daughter of the late James P. Beittel, MD founder of Beittel-Becker Pediatric Associates. She was educated at McCaskey High School, Mt. Holyoke College, University of Cincinnati School of Medicine, and Wright State University. She joined the practice in 2002. Dr. Laube and her husband have four children.
David K. Brown, D.O. is Board Certified in Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He was educated at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency in Pediatrics at Cooper University Hospital in 2010.
